Look at the two horses.  One is a draft the other is not.

Only a 9 lb difference!!

An incorrect weight estimation may result in
 over-dosing or under-dosing the animal.
 
Both scenarios can be detrimental to the health of the horse.

The vet taped Reason 250 lbs under a 2nd time! Thanks to you she got the right dose of Doxy for Lyme....

Zues was on rest for a hoof injury for quite some time..He had lots of time off and loves to eat !  His owner was concerned that he had gained a lot of weight and to me he did look  like he gained lots of weight...!  The scale indicated he had gained 53 lbs..the weight tape proved useless as usual..

                                This baby was so much fun to weigh...
