I can't tell you how much it has helped me while Punky has been going through her treatment for Lyme and uveitis. We know that when Punky goes in for surgery next week, she will be getting the proper doses of anesthesia and meds for her weight. The veterinarians guesstimates were off by as much as 200 pounds! Thanks to Stewart and his family for coming out!"

Greenefield Farm would like to thank RI Horse Weighing and S. Perry for a great day Sunday at the farm.It was nice to see all the horses weights and how well they walk on the scale..

I was very happy to find that my mare is holding her weight well. She is hovering between 1054# and 1078#, tipping the scales yesterday at 1064#. We have always had trouble managing her weight previously with her tending to be a bit obese, but it is good to see that the changes we made to her feed program are helping to keep her on track weight-wise. Being able to monitor her weight regularly and accurately on the scale has been a big help. Thanks RI Horse Weighing!

Thank you RIHW. The scale far outweighs (no pun intended) using the tape. The difference with the big kids was amazing and getting the "actual" weight for the supplements and worming, etc is critical. So glad I can add this to my kids resume, "great for vet, farier, horse weigh-in, etc." It was a great day and the photos are great

"Anybody who organizes horse shows or clinics should try to get the Perry's to bring their scale to your event. I taped my horse at 960 (which I thought might be high, she's only 14.1) She weighs 1086! They're very professional and friendly. Thanks again!!

I wanted to add a personal "Thank You" to Stewart & R. I. Horse Weighing.

On June 13th, 2009 these wonderful folks brought their digital scale the to "Fun Day" in Athol, Massachusetts at the New England Equestrian Center of Athol arena.

Just in my case alone, this was both a learning tool for my young Percheron PMU, and also a valued piece of knowledge.
Accurate weight enables for better doses of med's. / vaccines, wormers, supplements, and feeding proper rations...

Stewart was extremely patient, kind and encouraging too. As Mystery kept plodding on, right over and off... lol. Who knew you had to stand on top. It takes a few moments of standing still to lock in a weight, but we did it finally.

Along with his weighing of the horses ( and some folks... as I was caught on the scale ) he took a variety of photos and also added quite some humor and stories to the day.

Many folks have found that after using a digital scale like Stewarts, their weight by tape measure was off significantly... by hundreds of pounds. That varies because of the actual size of the whole horse, not just the chest measurement. And in my case, a weight tape no longer fits Mystery.

I can not express how pleased I was in both meeting Stewart, and of his kindness and professionalism. And I would encourage any event, to offer R. I. Horse Weighing's services at their function. For those of us at the NEECA Fun Day in Athol, we were both pleased and also surprised at some of the weights that came in on various horses. And very grateful for the opportunity to get accurate weights.
