I wanted my horse weighed because number one I was curious to see how much she exactly weighed and not go on a guess. I also wanted to make sure she was getting enough grain/hay according to her weight and training schedule, and all medications/wormers/supplements were being given to her correctly. Now that I know she weighs 1040 I can adjust her feeding, worming, supplements and any medications she may need. The weight tape showed me she was around 950, that's a 90 pound difference! Thanks to Rhode Island Horse Weighing I can now feed to her correct weight and not be worried if I am dosing to high or to low!
